2nd Amendment Ralley

Good morning,

Is anyone going to the 2nd amendment ralley in Olympia tomorrow? I understand it will be a pretty cool family event. It starts at 10:00 at the Capital building, I was told.

Semper Fi!

Hello Everyone. I also posted this on the Seecamp forum.

"Well, i just got back from the rally. I was disappointed that only about 250 people showed up. One of our senators spoke along with former NFL player Clint Didier who is running for office. There were several speakers on the subject on the second amendment, but the most memorable one was a character speaker who portrayed Samuel Adams in period clothing. He reminded us about the original intent of our founding fathers regarding the Constitution and exercise our rights as Americans to preserve our way of life.

I hope next year has a better turn out."

We need more notice than the day before the event.

I found out that this event was not advertised very well. None of the gun shops were even given notice about it. Very sad. I heard about it from a friend who attended the first one held last year.

I imagined it to be a well attended event like the Taste Of Tacoma. I guess it will need some time to establish itself. I'll be there next year.
