WHAT:
Come learn and use a suppressor (aka silencer or also called a "can"). We'll have vendors and privately owned suppressors for demo. Shoot and hear the difference and talk to folks on "How To" and what to get.

Forget the movies... actually hear for youself what real suppressor's sound like and shoot some too!

Note: Come early and watch the USPSA Area 1 Championship Match in the Action Bays from 9-5pm
Area 1

All Non Members of RF&GC: Please check in with the Shotgun Club House (Main club house as you enter the Club). Pay the range fee ($12) and proceed to the rifle and pistol ranges.

FYI: Parking will be limited so you may have to walk to the ranges. We'll have signs. While you walk stop by the USPSA Championship match and see what they do here at Renton Fish and Game... Ear and eye protection is required. Non members please make sure you sign a waiver. Waivers are available online at The domain name RFGC.COM.

If you have any questions please contact me via Shoot On The Move

Also I will update this thread to include what vendors and what items they will be tentatively bringing to the shoot.

All updates will be posted to this thread at WaGuns.org - View topic - Suppressor Shoot at Renton Fish and Game Club July 24, 2011

Please also know that there will be a suppressor shoot on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Kitsap Rifle and Revolver. WaGuns.org - View topic - Western WA KRRC Silencer Shoot

HB 1016 takes effect on Friday, July 22, 2011. Please check with your range if they will allow suppressor use as each facility will have to come to terms on how to deal with this "new accessory."

At Renton Fish and Game Club - you are good to go (for legally owned....)

Will we need to bring our own ammo and targets, or does this facility have a store?

I emailed the facilitator and here is the reply;
The range has ammo and targets for sale. It's market value. Pretty good but as in many things you may find it cheaper someplace else it is convent.

The vendors mostly will be free but that only means you may shoot once or twice not a whole mag. The fine details will be posted on each vendor.

Thanks,
Young
Shoot On The Move

As we get closer to the event more vendors will be setting up their "terms" in the means of round count, hosting the can on your rifle policies etc. I am pretty sure that there will also be host weapons there with cans attached which you can use as well (at that vendors station). I am pretty sure all of my threaded weapons will be a host for a few vendors.

I was way too tired to after the Match to check it out today.

I was there at the range at 7:30am to help setup. After shooting 8 stages and about 300 rounds I was ready to go home. Maybe next time....

Maybe you just didn't hear us :)..

I have a feeling over the next few months you will be seeing more and more suppressed firearms at RFGC.
