Just an observation but it might help your time if you "counted rounds". For some reason, it's just an automatic happening in my head. Every shot trips the "counter" in my brain and I know which shot is going to lock my slide back. It appeared that it was a "surprise" that the slide locked back. Just an observation based on the video. |

I usually don't have a problem with knowing when its going to slide lock. But last night was just one of those times when I could hardly remember my own name... LOL I had problems remembering something on almost every stage. Stage 1, I forgot about the flip up target that comes up after hitting the popper. Stage 2, I just didn't get good hits. Stage 3, was scored limited Vickers and there was an specific order you has to hit the targets and a specific number of rounds on each of those targets. I lost count there and so I didn't know when my reload was coming and forgot how many rounds I put on the targets. Stage 4, I totally blew my reload, I didn't get my vest swept back enough and didn't get a good grip on the new mag. I was smiling and laughing during the reload because I had a good run going and the SO and I knew the reload killed it. Oh well, it was still fun and better then not going shooting!!
