IDPA Match at The Firearms Academy of Seattle this Saturday the 10th.

New shooters are welcome, match starts at 10am, match fee $20.

More info on the match tomorrow from Marty at FAS:

"Here is what to expect for our 2011 FAS Tactical Championships.

10 stages of fire, all very quick stages, (assuming you can shoot accurately and fast). The most rounds on one stage is 12, most have 3-6 rounds. For those of you who are more interested in just having shooting fun, then this match probably ain't for you (although I personally think it will be great fun) along with it being a serious exercise in self-defense shooting skills.

The match should go very quickly, probably done by 2:00 pm. Which, given the expected weather conditions, (very warm) it won't be a hardship to shoot and scoot. But, for those who also want to get in some good trigger time, after the match, we will set up all three classifier stages, so if you have wanted to get in a classifier with a different weapons system, then come on down.

There are two low light stages, one requiring a flashlight. As always, we will have a SureFire loaner if you don't have a good tactical light.

Come celebrate our first successful season as a comeback IDPA club, as this will be our last match of the year.

Division/class winners will recieve certificates for winning your Division/class, as long as there are more than one shooter in the Division/class. If not, division/classes will be combined."
