So I have been working in alaska building my cell towers and met a really cool co-worker who is more nuts than me. We will be working in remote villages all winter and I went to his house to check out the gear I will need. He hunts everything up here and when I started talking guns he busts out this gun. ![]() It is a full Titanium M700 chambered in 300, rifle weighs in loaded, with scope at 5 pounds even. Every placed that can be shaved is even the inside of the trigger. Remington makes these for venders only the serial number starts with a zero, pretty cool rifle well made badass, figured i would post it up since i had never even heard of them |

When I asked the question "Are you sure it's not a Model 700 Alaskan Ti?" I was dead serious and the reason I asked was because the lightest Alaskan Ti is 6 lbs and your friends "weighs in loaded, with scope at 5 pounds even". I really wasn't sure we where talking about the same rifle. My Remington 700 Stainless SPS Varmint is the 20th one down the list at Remington and the Alaskan Ti is last on the list, and Google is not required to find a Remington 700 at the Remington site EDIT: Here is the list of 700's I was referring to Bolt Action Centerfire Model 700 Centerfire Rifles Last edited by PiNk TCP; 10-23-2011 at 08:59 AM. |

5 pounds? .300? neat! hell of a hunting rifle. I'd hate to shoot it though. |

shot the rifle today thinking it was going to be a mule, and it wasnt. I dont know if it is because it is balanced so well or what, i was shooting it back to back with my 300 savage which is ported and there is very little difference. weird right, badass rifle. wonder if remington makes them on a regular basis or not, more digging...

thats a pretty damn good report esp considering your savage was ported. Jim, how much does your 300 weigh? |
