Well, I already had pics of one gun on my Flikr account. I had to take these because a buddy that I trained with couldn't believe that I was not using a holster on a daily basis. ![]() My wife wanted an alternative to holsters that didn't fit her (women are shaped differently, thank God), and in my frustration I got a Clip Draw for her Colt Officers Model. I had previously always believed that a hoster is a safety device and that not securing a pistol was irresponsible (OK, I still believe that part). She convinced me to try her OM and I was impressed. I had been using a Nelson Summer Special (Digardi version) with my Colt Commander or Sparks Watch 6 with a Government Model size pistol. ![]() With a GM sized Kimber Eclipse it is perfect: exactly covers the trigger guard and the piece nestles behind my hipbone. Been using it for about 3 years and love it; the gun has never moved where it shouldn't, but is always positioned where I want it for comfort or presentation, and there is noticably less bulk inside my waistband (not that I'm gaining weight). Anyway, there are a couple pics. Steve |

Good builds Matt. My brother in law just traded a haggard dirtbike to a guy for a Noveske AR!!! With the value of Noveske these days, he scored by offloading a $1200 CR500

I did some careful pulishing of the underside of the slide and top of the frame with a dremel tool and polish. When i was done I could ease te bolt up against the top cartidge and it would chamber under the power of the recoil spring. A buddy shot it and fell in love with it and had to have it. I told him replace it with a new one and a 6 pack of Henry Weinhards and it's yours. He agreed and I did the same thing all over again. Sold it a few years later and bought a slabside MKII. EDIT: Post 69.... hehehe Tard - nice collection of goodies! |

Mic is on his game it's a CAA I love it.. feels great they are now making one with interchangable components similar to the magpul http://www.commandarms.com/categories.asp?cID=11 I like this one though.. it doesn't have the interchangable pieces, but the back of this grip, it molds into the lower reciever.. |

Well, today I picked up the DSA TP-9 I have been waiting on! So far the trigger pull sux! I will hopefully be able to take it out on Sunday & we'll see if it's any fun to shoot. But currently I'm questioning my purchase. I think I just brought home an over priced, updated, polymer Mac 10 9mm! ![]() Last edited by FatFugg; 03-27-2009 at 09:21 PM. |
