I got a chance to shoot it today & I will have to modify my previous statement. The trigger pull is a bit stiff, but while shooting it is not sloppy at all like it felt when dry firing. I will have to see if I can get my hands on a lighter trigger spring. The gun is real easy to keep on target, which I didn't expect from a gun like this. It's really fun to shoot & easier to hit your target then you would expect. I can only imagine what kinda fun the full auto version with a stock would be!

How do you like the P99? I was looking at them once but I didn't have the money to look at them seriously.

i like the P99 a lot. It's light, well balanced, and comfortable in my hand. it shoots well, is accurate, and reliable. It's a great gun. I've never had a problem with it.

Hey Boogie, I have never scoped an AR other then a flat top so I am wondering do you notice the front sight at all through the optic on that? If so does it get in the way or is it barely noticeable?

Barely noticeable. I mounted it on my carry handle at first but that was too high so I tried this and it worked great. When I do see it, It's like a light blur that doesn't hinder any view. Only see it at the lowest magnification.

Who here knows a good deal on a flat top gasblock? I want a flip up front sight, that'd be cool.

For really though?

You have to cut the feed lips of of the AR mag if you are going to use it as a brass catcher.

Since Josh asked......

A colt 6520. I replaced the A2 receiver with an A3 and had it ceramic coated. Great handling rifle.

MSTN built SPR upper on a Colt Lower.....I took this one to Afghanistan

Sig 556 w/ Surefire M500 series light. Runs well but it's just a range toy

A few sigs

One of my favorites, a integrally suppressed AR15. I built it on an LMT lower. The Supressor is pinned.

My FAL. This is my heavy rifle for work. I like the 7.62 but man, it's a pig to hump around.

Jose does most of the color, if you want nice ceramic coatings, go to him!
