I've got a large ring Obendorf Mauser...the sucker is frikkin beautiful. Unfortunately, it is an 8MM.. I have a Voere Mauser in 30-06..don't need an 8MM if I've got a 30-06. I'm thinking of turning the Obendorf into a 25-06.
Where is the best gunsmith around here? I was turned on to an outfit in Pendleton that can do it.. Place called Oregon Gunsmithing.
Anybody local do good work on something like this?
