c1968 Winchester Buffalo Bill Commerative Rifle

You guys want to know what a 30-30 can do you need to get a RIFLE not a carbine. In a 26" barrel with a 125gr Sierra FPHP bullet tripping along at 2500fps it can be a very accurate rifle. Mine now has a Williams FP 94/36 TK rear peep sight and a convertable front sight (hooded bead on post or simple post) And with the huge 30" sight spacing its got no problems shooting less then MOA groups. No problem with any deer sized critter in the PNW.

Sadly the only way to get a 30-30 RIFLE now days is to pay a HUGE amount of money for a highly collectable pre 1929 model or buy a Commerative or Centennial made in the late 60's.
