CCW holder?

I am a CCW holder...is it legal in Washington state to carry a loaded pistol while in a vehicle? I've asked this question and keep getting different answers, so I want to clarify. Thanks in advance. :)

I also carry mine in the car whenever we are going out of town. However you cannot leave it in the car if you get out and go somewhere.

If you have a permit you can carry a loaded pistol in a vehichle.

Under no circumstances can you carry a loaded long gun (rifle/shotgun).

This is absolutely wrong.

It is perfectly legal to leave it in a secured vehicle.
