Did anyone see the pressconference they held today? I haven't been home to watch the news yet, but here is link to the story about it. They say they have 28,000 signatures asking them to ban guns. The funny thing is that any ban would be non-binding, you would just have to leave if they asked you to, which is no different than now. Starbucks said Why would we want to ask out paying customers to leave? And please leave us out of your political games. But then political and propaganda games are all the Brady bunch has.

When there is an update on the results of the press conference held today in front of the original Starbucks, I will add it if noone else has posted it yet.
I support their policy of abiding by state laws, and I'm pretty sure there are more people that would stop going there if they were to ban guns than will stop if they don't. People tend to be passionate about their gun rights, more than enough to stop buying coffe from one vendor. I don't know how much it means to the antis that there is no sign outside a store.

"The political, policy and legal debates around these issues belong in the legislatures and courts, not in our stores," it said in a release. Adopting a ban on openly carrying guns would force its employees, which it calls partners, "to ask law abiding customers to leave our stores, putting our partners in an unfair and potentially unsafe position."
