who totally abuses gun laws and what not. It in fact pisses me off. Hes drunk almost 24/7 has his CPL and carries an LCP with him practically wherever he goes. whether it be bars or not. I've told him plenty of times that its against the law to carry in a bar, but he doesnt give a ****.

Today we were cheering him on (as a joke) because he was in the bedroom with his lady friend, he came out and asked who said "Go ****"? as he was walking down the stairs i saw him pull his pistol out of his pocket and put it back in. Then i said it was me and he said dont do that again. then asked where *** was and i said he went to bed, then he went down the other set of stairs and chambered the weapon.

I'm paying rent to him but I'm considering moving out pretty soon cause this **** never stops.

any advice?

Guys like this often end up with either a jail sentence or a toe tag.

There's no explaining "Stupid" and it's incurable.

Neat friend you got!

The least you should do is get yourself outa there.

Depending on whether the guy really is a "friend" of yours, I might consider calling the cops when he is carrying in a bar just to be an ******* to the *******.

That's not cool at all. I can't stand when people like that don't take safety seriously. When you say "Stop f***ing around" they take it as a joke and think it's funny and keep doing it. It's people like your "friend" who ruin it for the responsible law abiding gun owners.

There are a few friends of mine who I would NOT take shooting with me, nor even let them handle my firearms. I simply don't trust some people.

If I were in your situation, I would inform the authorities or maybe even just the owners / bartenders next time he carries at a bar or elsewhere he shouldn't be. Call it a dick move, but I won't lose any sleep over it. In fact, I'd sleep better.

we live on a dead end street and some people park at the end sometimes (a block away from us) and that apparently pisses him off. and one time some truck came rolling by slowly, non threatening and he pulled his ak out of his safe. just out in from of the house.

Sounds like this guy is a violent crime waiting to happen! I would say tell someone next time he is carrying in a bar. I wouldnt even call that a dick move, but more like a safety move!

Move out as soon as possible and bury his ammo in the backyard before you go!

Seriously though. I would feel in danger in that environment. I know life is hard when you have to consider finding a new place to live. It's one of the hardest "normal" things we have to deal with. But aren't you worth the effort? Hell I don't know you, and I know the answer to that question!

Ya... move the **** outta there ASAP.

that's some **** you don't need to deal with.

It only takes one mistake on his part to end or ruin your life.. or the life of someone you care about. Live in your car for a week.. better than catching a round from a drunk ******* fuckhead.

Sorry to sound harsh, but I have very very little tolerance for people who don't respect their weapons and the lives of the people around them.

I gotta agree with those saying GTFO now while you can. I went target shooting once (emphasis on once) with a ex-friend that was pretty much the poster boy for how NOT to handle a firearm. I was young then and not so anal about safety then, and he still scared the bejeezus out of me to the point where I ended our session prematurely, and vowed never to be around him and guns at the same time ever again. Another good friend of mine (and also ex-friend of said ass-clown) had a very similar experience and made the same vow.

Fortunately nothing happened to either of us, but it easily could have. And this guy was just clueless and stupid, not drunk. Drunk ups the ante big time. If I had no choice but to stay, I'd consider installing trigger locks and tell him when sobers up and wises up he can have the keys. No on second thought **** that, just GTFO.

What are you gonna do with that hammer, Phil? Take his rounds apart, dump the powder out and tap the bullet back in place?

the primer might have enough force to squeeze the bullet out i've heard.

yeah, but when the bullet bounces off you, you can shoot "I must go! My Planet needs me!" and jump out the closest window. Talk about an exit! It'd totally be worth all the effort!
