They interviewed 1,772 people. Do you realize how statistically irrelevant that is? That is 0.00056613418% of the population. And that's where they got the 90% figure from.

But beyond that, what was the exact question(s) asked of those people? "Do you favor simple checks that would keep psycho killers from mutilating your children?" is a lot different than, "Do you favor a violation of the 2A that puts a govt record on anything/everything you do with regards guns?"

Yeah, you can manipulate any poll or survey you want. It's all in who is questioned and how the questions are asked. I always have to read the questions and see their methodology before I take any survey at face value.

Surveys

Not only do you have to see the questions and how they are worded, but you have to know where and what audience that was surveyed. Was it a random survey? Who assessed the survey? Survey's can be written so that the only logical answers are what is chosen. You might have a scale where the answer is a number between one and five and four of the five are the desired result. There's all kinds of ways a survey can be rigged.

There. I just posed a question that 90% of people will say "yes" to.

These are the same Jerks that talk about "gun violence" as though being raped at knife-point is somehow less-raped than if the perp had a gun.

Polls like these mean nothing unless they publish ALL their data. Which this poll conveniently did NOT.

You didn't get that quite right... it's morally superior for a woman to allow herself to be raped and hope that's all the perp does, than to defend herself with a gun and prevent it from happening in the first place. :angry:

Or maybe she can just piss her pants, and that may turn the perp off.
