Deregulating short barrels and suppressors

What would it take to get SBRs, SBSs, AOWs, and suppressors removed from the NFA? I figure that first we'd need to wait until Obama has left office. What else is there? Lawsuits?

You are talking about changing a law that has been on the books for 80 years.
It's going to take a massive campaign to change the perception of silencers
and SBR's. That's going to take a pile of money. Not sure where that will
come from. Heck----repealing the Hughes Amendment pops up every so often,
and the people most opposed to repealing it? Current full auto collectors.

There was a petition, but it didn't get enough sigs to go anywhere.
