I have been wanting to get a Marlin 30-30 lever for a long time. I'm really liking the new 336BL and I think that's what I'll end up with. I like the natural walnut stocks better than the laminate stocks but the lamination in the 336BL isn't overdone like many are and it looks pretty good. Plus, I like the oversize lever loop :top:

yea the oversize loop is 100+ (from DRC or WWG) Midway has the DRC's for 139 or you can call them directly at 817-783-6099 wild west guns is 149 http://www.wildwestguns.com/accessories.html

Did 10 rounds in 15 mins and 2 weeks later it quit hurting

What I dont like
Recoils a *****
First shots like damn thats a kick
second shot it is OUCH that hurt
3rd shot is **** I GOT 2 MORE ROUNDS, sunofa *****
4rth shot is jesus christ that hurt **** **** **** one more round
5th shot is OWE OWE OWE FINALLY damn thats ******* killing me
Im a masochist so i did another set of 5
swear to gawd it channeled my shoulder in half but oddly enough no bruising just pain
theres a reason why on Utube those shootin the 450 only fire 2 rounds
