Thought it would be a good idea to start a thread so we can share resources. If you got some sites you pick up guns/ammo/parts post them up. Maybe give a clue as to what you like about the site? |

Jason here... owner of Survival Arms in Bellevue, WA. Just changed the name of my business to New & Used Guns, Mags, Ammo, Accessories, Reloading, Knives. For Guns / Ammo / Accessories bought online, you can pickup at my Bellevue location with no shipping fees or credit card fees for transaction. I've taken the largest suppliers inventories and done the price searching for you behind the scenes. Suppliers charge me different prices for every item. So the price you see is the lowest available to me with a very low margin added. I also do transfers for $29 for gun bought from other places. Appreciate your business! Jason |

I do most of my online purchases through CheaperThanDirt.com. They have a nice selection of gear at a reasonable price. But they are at times limited to specific types of gear and armaments. I.E. they have a very low selection for the Springfield M1A1 or M-14 (my chosen rifle). They are more geared towards the AR-15 and SKS. And they don't specialize for other types like the .338 Lapua or 50 caliber of any version of anti-material weapons. Some times I look at Midway. For local ammo purchases, I go through SportCo, and Welchers Gunshop. Welchers staff are very helpful and always get you want you need. This is in the Tacoma, WA area, FYI.

I went to lowpriceguns.com and found some great deals. I think I am going to get a springfield GI 1911 from them.

Avoid Military Surplus / Appalachian Tactical at all costs. Refuses to process a return. Horrible service. BAD BAD BAD. Military Surplus - 5.11 Fleece Jacket |

I recently found Defense Alternatives | Police, Security, Military, tactical uniforms, equipment and supplies., Non Lethal Self Defense when searching for father's day stuff for my husband. They seem to have a huge selection. I ended up going with the survival strap and one of the 5.11 flashlights, something he's been asking for for a while. Pretty stoked and their customer service was great when I was trying to figure out which flashlight to get.

As for Local : I have found that OutDoor Emporium/Sportco has the best price I have yet found on the 20 round factory mags for the SF M1A1. Member diecount is a mere $42. $45 non-member, still beats SF and other wholesale prices for this item.

First of all I refuse to buy a gun online. If I haven't touched the gun I'm buying before I part with my money it ain't happening. For parts, accessories, and reloading supplies I have used the following on a regular basis: Delton Bravo Company Combat Optical Optic's Planet Cheaper Than Dirt Midway Brownells For Reloading components I almost exclusively use Powder Valley (powder, primers, match bullets in .308) Montana Gold (.223 and 9mm) |

Brownells, Ammo to Go, MidwayUSA, Cabelas, Reds Trading Post (Idaho), Able Ammo, Graf and Sons, Sportsman's Warehouse, Sportsmen's Guide, Wholesale Hunter, AmmoSeek (search engine), I have found good and bad deals everywhere. Some places have limits and some don't. Some charge lower per unit prices yet may charge more for shipping. |

If you are patient on GunBroker.com and know what you are looking for you can get some great deals. Just watch out for the shipping costs.

Gunslinger Joined: Sep 2013 From: Portland, OR Posts: 32 | www.outdoorstrader.com is a pretty cool local resource, a sort of craigslist for guns, ammo, blackpowder, camping stuff, but looks like you've hit my faves, centerfire, gunbroker, don't know if I saw Numrich, www.gunpartscorp.com for some hard to find old stuff. When I first got my FN1922 pistol, there were quite a few armorer's kits on gunbroker. Being a newb at the time, I didn't buy one cause they're probably always there, right? Never seen again, so I check gunbroker very frequently for anything related to any of my c/r stuff. |

For ammo, I usually buy from links found at GunBot.net, unless there are comparable deals locally.

I check Amazon for accessories. I like going shopping at Sportsman's and Cabela's. Bimart and Wally World usually have decent ammo prices too.
