That's one way to catch bad guys -- at the emergency room with bullet wounds. ;) (On a more cynical note, I didn't see the media reporting how beneficial to society it was that this man was armed -- maybe it was obvious. But they sure do point out how dangerous guns are when something bad happens with them...) |

I think what I like best about this, is that it disproves the notion that citizens who carry simply aren't up to the task, and will do shit like 'spray and pray' and are more a danger than help... this guy proved all that to a load of crap. He chose his shots, aimed and hit his targets, not innocents. I haven't heard what this guy's background is, maybe he's ex-LEO or military, but the facts still stand; at that time he was just an armed citizen, and he saved the day. |
