Well the 'gun show loophole' is nowhere near as big as the anti-gun crowd would have you believe. Yes I'm sure some bad people get guns that way sometimes, but if gun shows were just easy access to guns for criminals, you'd hear more about shooting rampages or other murderer's weapons being traced back to a gun show sale. But you don't. They are usually stolen or otherwise illegally obtained, or legally purchased from a dealer. I did get a chuckle out of the guy trying to buy from an off duty WSP officer as well. Priceless! |
