I didnt think much of the show to begin with.
Another show that was fun but, soon lost my interest, was the 'Red Jacket' show. I can't remember the name? 'Son's of Guns' or something along those lines?

bad shows get cancelled.

why is this in gun talk? despite the name, it's not a gun show.

sons of guns was pretty popular, I don't believe the ratings were the reason for the cancellation.

SOG always seemed like a nightmare. Why would anyone take their guns to guys who are always breaking **** and a shop filled with drama? How do I know my gun would get attention when everyone in the shop is busy building the next Gatling flame thrower truck mounted shotgun that shoots through vans?

I'd prefer to have quiet professionals work on my guns. Maybe they keep them in the back.

It is a reality show, with emphasis on "show"! The characters are real people. The rest is just a show. To what extent was it scripted ? We can only guess.

For me the best part of american guns, was Paige Wyatt, she is a cute young lady.

Son's of Guns, never was interesting to me.

They have drama in the gun store, drama in the pawn shop, drama in the woods, drama in a truck.

I wish they would cancel all of them and make a good show again, like Gilligan's Island.

The 'reality' gun shows are all crap, IMO. I kinda liked SOG at first as they built some cool ass guns, but then it just turned into another drama-fest, I tuned out.

The GOOD gun shows are all on the Outdoor Channel (or Sportsman's Channel depending on your provider) 'Gun Stories', 'American Rifleman', 'Best Defense', 'Shooting USA' etc are all good shows I enjoy watching, drama-free.

I liked SOG and watched it with my son. They made plenty of cool stuff and always got to blow things up. But we constantly wondered why the seemed so "baffoon-ish". One moment you'd see them doing math and calculating, the next you'd see them just "figuring it out".

American Guns was also fun while it lasted but I never felt like having anything worked on by them.

FWIW, I did order something from Red Jacket -- back in May of 2012. Was told it should ship by Fall. Was then told it would start shipping after Thanksgiving. Then was told they were shipping and starting with the pre-orders (mine being one of them). It's now the middle of January and nuthin'...
