Over all I do not see how any of this will end up being constitutional. Will it not just completely waste tax payer dollars when this ends up going to court. Is it not irresponsible to use tax payer dollars on blatantly unconstitutional laws like this. The people of California should realize what their leaders are doing to them.
I always love the term bullet button because there still is no decent explanation of what that really is.
If California wanted to do anything they should outlaw cancer.....

A bullet button is a device which replaces the standard mag release on an AR to make it harder to change magazines.
Instead of pushing the button with your finger, you have to have a tool (spare cartridge, pen/pencil, punch etc) to press the "bullet button" and drop the mag.
They're required on all CA legal ar-15s It takes about 5 minutes to swap them out, or in. The bullet button was a work around to get AR's back in cali gun owners hands..

The reason they refer to it as a "bullet button" is because the release has been designed to be activated by using the tip of a standard .223 round as the "tool" to drop the mag. So all you need to release the mag is a spare round.
It really pisses off the gun haters down there because it is a totally legit, legal work around to their rediculous law requireing a tool to remove the magazine, thereby making it "fixed" (only not really).
