I hate to see individual officers named in that but I'm a firm believer in cops fighting for everyone's rights, not just thier own. When the police unions started screaming that LEO's were not exempt from the new laws, I almost puked. The individual cops need to stand behind the true meaning of the second. I hope all domestic gun manufacturers follow suit. It will suck missing out on contracts but let the fuckers deal with HK for a while.....that'll teach them.

I don't get it? HK makes a superior product to ANYTHING that Oly Arms has EVER produced! Might cost more, but it's more better!

I'm all for saying **** NY, but I don't get the HK comment.

HK has a reputation for the worst customer service and product support in the firearms industry, not to mention everything costs more than it should. I waited 8 months for a roller block retaining clip for our mp5/40s, effectively sidelining the guns for the entire time. Then, they stop making the guns and parts supplies became even worse even though promises of continued support through the life cycle of the weapon system were one of their big selling points. We experienced the same problem with the G36k's and finally said, **** it and bought Colt, who at the time wasn't much better but were at least we could get parts....from other manufacturers.

Sorry none of you got my reference.

Couldn't agree with Olympic more. I especially this part:

This action has caused a division of the people into classes: Those the government deems valuable enough to protect with modern firearms, and those whose lives have been deemed as having less value, and whom the government has decided do not deserve the right to protect themselves with the same firearms. Olympic Arms will not support such behavior or policy against any citizen of this great nation.

No chance any of the armed security for the politicians will have to turn in their guns, or the hired goons that protect the wealthy elite, the idiot hypocrite celebrities, etc will be turning in their guns. But us average schmucks? Let them eat cake!

Go! Oly Go! Now I wish the rest of the makers would 'grow a 'set' and do the same thing.

Cheaper Than Dirt (lost my respect but earning it back with their recent 100k donation to 2nd Amendment Foundation

These companies taking this stand are mapping out who I will do business with in the future. LE and military contracts are a small fraction of what the civilian market is.
