"Update: Only hours after the 1911 Gen4 rollout,GLOCK announced that they are no longer taking orders for the pistol as they were immediately swamped with thousands of backorders. GLOCK cannot build complete guns quickly enough to meet demand due to the 2012 Lanyard Loop Shortage, of which we are all aware."
