I've shot a lot of moly coated 9mm and .45ACP. Same Idea, different material. If you're purchasing them instead of hard cast lead, you will find that lead fouling is reduced, but might find that the nylon coating will be deposited in the bore to some extent. The cheap powder used in things like Winchester White box contributes more to the grundge in guns than the bullets.

I've shot some of it. Didn't really notice much difference. Performed fine.

But we didn't have enough of it, or shoot it exclusively, so it is hard to say anything for sure... other than that it looked funny loading the mags with blue bullets.
