Got my new AR-15 today. pics included

My new Rock River Arms LAR-15 Elite Operator Edition



Came with 2 30rnd mags, hi-rise scope mount, and tactical carry handle



16" 1/9 twist barrel w/ half quad tac rail foregrip


Added an ambi fire selector as i am a south paw shooter


Also comes with the RRA Operator CAR stock

very nice. you going to put a scope or anything on it? what kind if you are? I'm thinking since I don't do much outdoor stuff with my AR-15 of putting a red-dot scope or possibly a holographic style (think eco-tech) style..

Why didn't you have them build it left-handed so the casings don't eject across your face? They do make lefty-style upper receivers.

1. im going to put an acog on this bad boy in a couple of months when i save up the money. thought about an Eotech but personal preference for me is the scope over the red dot.
2. i couldnt stray from the specific build so that i could get the heavy discounted price. I did think about getting a lefty AR at one point till i fired a few and noticed that most of the brass just flies more forward and out than back to the face. If it does become an issue i will just pick up a brass deflector

I thought Stag was the only one doing lefties?

ya i thought that stag arms was the only company that did lefty uppers as well. the deal i got for my RRA was just too good to pass up.
