Does the end of the barrel (the muzzle) have a star stamped in it?

" M1903A1 (1930–1939)— changed from a straight stock to a pistol grip type stock (Type C stock). Nearly all M1903A1s were sold as National Match rifles until World War II."

If this is an A1 it would have oringinally came with a C stock.

No, not a National Match barrel although it is an A1 with all machined parts. Thanks for the info!
