Not sure if they have that exact gun, but check out Bulls Eye in Tacoma, Marksman in Puyallup, or Champion in Kent. A friend has a XD, I am not a huge fan but he loves it

I've owned several xd's/xdm's and I will tell you that they shoot great. you won't be disappointed. They are well made guns and feel very comfortable in your hands. I don't shoot them anymore because I moved away from Polymer and into the 1911 platform. It's apples and oranges there.

First, welcome!

Second, there is no XDm sub-compact. There is an XD sub-compact, XDm 3.8 & XDm 3.8 Compact.

I currently own an XDm 3.8 .40 & an XD sub-compact .40, they are killer guns. I personally don't like the way Glocks feel, but XD's feel like they were designed for me. The only other polymer gun that feels right in my hands is the H&K USP, but the cost substantially more then the XD line.

For the money, I don't think you can go wrong with an XD.
