Hey all! Been meaning to join one of these forums so I've finally done so. Dunno how active I'll be.
I grew up around firearms and I've had a bit of training with handguns, too. My dad had a concealed carry permit for a lot of my life while I grew up in Indiana.
Had to move to Seattle for my career and I'm glad that, at least right now, Washington doesn't infringe too hard on our second amendment. Although it looks like the mayor here and ignorant local business owners may be trying to change that.
So, I got my CPL. I carry a 1911 Kimber Royal II. I've been shooting the gun at the range since I was 16 or 17, I think. It's the most reliable 1911 I've had and I just really love the gun. Maybe certain compact Glocks are better for concealed carry, but I like my 1911... Maybe I'll have to get a Glock sometime soon, too.
