Sup, new gun forum member. Came over from the pnw riders forums.

Guess I'll ask my question here.
Is $799.00 a good deal for a dpms panther with 4 mags, 100 rounds and a cleaning kit?
Haven't owned any guns for awhile so I'm kinda clueless these days.

Thanks for any replies.

P.s. This is the one I'm looking at. http://www.dpmsinc.com/PANTHER-CARBINE-16-RFA3_ep_212-1.html

that one looks ok, it will shoot great and be reliable..

Things to look for are how the gun is setup..

That one for example has a fixed front site, and a standard handguard This limits slightly how you will setup the gun and where you will mount stuff (rear site, etc)

All in all it's great, but I bet you end up putting more cash in (a couple hundred)

I would look for a gun that's worth $1000 and see what you can come up with?
