I'm an odd caliber collector, a bit of an oddity enthusiast, and looking to go a little more mainstream.

I have some old Arisakas and a couple of bolt action shotguns, a few odd pistols, and just some generally unusual guns, none of which are worth anything.

My wife and I also love road trips, pretending to try to get organized, and having fun learning homesteader skills and talking to other folks like us.

I'm really looking for a Mag for my Kessler 228fr, too. Heck, I'd like a bunch of them!

I'm not so sure my guns are cool... they might be the opposite! :O

I am keeping an eye out for an old Ghia (Post WWII 12 ga with mauser action, no real value, and see about turning it into something less likely to blow up) to fiddle with, for example.

I don't actually have any pics at the moment. The bolters are 16 ga, a JC Higgins and a Kessler 228. I had a chance to buy a Marlin Goose Gun in 12 ga for $150 with the Mag and am kicking myself for missing out on it. Full 36" barrel on that beast!

I'm still learning a lot about what I already have, and love these old "junk guns" for the learning and fun modifications that can be done with them. I figure if I am going to learn how to do this stuff, I should probably start with something of little value.
