I know this one is a good scope: Simmons Whitetail Classic Rifle Scope 6.5-20x 50mm Adjustable Objective Truplex Reticle Matte - MidwayUSA BUT this one sounds good and has some nice features, and i love shit that glows. seriously love... so take that into consideration Leapers TS Platform Rifle Scope 6-24x 50mm Adjustable Objective Red and Green Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle Matte - MidwayUSA Im really just looking to use the magnification up to 14, and im confident in both scopes for that. does anyone have any experience with the leapers scope? also if i get a quick release mount will I need one that moves the scope forward or not?, cuz its a big scope Last edited by migxdm; 12-21-2009 at 12:06 PM. |

I have the Simmons on my 10-22 and love it. I read the reviews on the Leapers and it apparently doesn't hold zero very well. Up to you which you go with. :) Last edited by Metonymy; 12-22-2009 at 04:25 PM. |

Leapers is crap. Period. Have you looked at the Leupold VX1? 3-9x40.. It's what I have on my 6.8 and I love it.

go with crosshairs so you can tell if you are canting the rifle left or right(everyone does it) if you mount it high like on the carry handle you can gain quite a bit of windage the farther away the target is with a little tilt
