NRA Safety Course for Oregon CHP...

Hi-ho! Over from pnwriders, and someone asked about the class for getting the NRA certification required for applying for your Concealed Handgun Permit. I would be happy to throw a class together if there are at least 5 people interested in taking it. I can do it here at my home in SE Portland this weekend. Anyone interested?

Nope, I believe the Utah requirements are higher (I think they require use-of-force training). I cover a little of that, but I won't guarantee it covers their requirements.

Class is $35/person, forgot to add that on the first post.

You have to be a certified NRA instructor AND certified by Utah BCI to teach the nonresident Utah safety class to obtain their nonres CWL. Requirements for class are 4 hrs of instruction, actual hands on shooting not required.
