You want the new HK45C then! It's way expensive, but way nice. For a similar size package for not quite half the price, look at XD 45C or Glock 30SF. Both of those are striker fired though, if you want DA/SA or any combination thereof HK has it. |

What do ya want to know? I had an USP .45 full size & a USP compact .45 in the past. I am considering buying a USP compact .40 currently if I could just find one for a decent price. Aside from being too fuggin spendy, there is no better polymer pistol on the market IMHO. Although the Springfield XD's are a close second. Last edited by FatFugg; 05-19-2009 at 07:14 PM. |

I had one. Always thought the Sig 220 was a good gun, still do, have one now, but the USP is a different animal in my book, the softest shooting .45ACP I've ever shot. Function was flawless, even after changing shape in a trailer fire, it still cycled. I sent it to H&K so they could see how it still cycled on the rails, and they sent me a new one! I'd call that pretty good "customer service". I wish I'd never felt the necessity to let it go, and I wish I had the opportunity to get another. If you can afford it, I would not say you can't miss, but I would say you'd miss out on some nice shooting if you didn't get one. |
