If this is true, these will dry up quickly.

"SoldierSystems.net is reporting from a “source” that Marine Corps Special Operations Command has placed an order for 4000 Colt 1911A1 Rail Guns. Big hat tip to them. I’m willing to bet that their “unnamed source” is credible, but until it comes from the command, it’s still unconfirmed.
My own, separate, unnamed source tells me Colt’s Rail Gun production is limited by some subcontracted parts. Ramping up production to fill this contract is not out of the question, but there will be some growing pain on the line. If this rumor is true, Colt will likely need to size-up the pipeline and maybe slim down some other offerings in the 1911 line to meet the demand of this contract. Likely, there are a few Colt folks calling around to find a additional sources for a few key component of this pistol.
I’m told the Colt-submitted MARSOC pistol is entirely Cerakoted tan and has a lanyard loop and night sights."
