Looks like Mossberg is putting out a competition ready tactical shotgun this summer! It'll be on the 930 platform, and it'll have a 24 inch choke tubed barrel, 9 capacity, an oversized charging bolt handle, and some modifications to make speed loading easier. Can't find a pic yet, but this would be one hell of a play gun! And mossbergs tend to be affordable! |

If you were in a real gun fight? That's some pretty overwhelming firepower. I plan on never being in a gunfight... So far, so good!

Is a 22 LR big enough for zombies with proper shot placement? Do you need a license to hunt zombies in Oregon? Any limits on number of zombies one can take in a single day? And are there any taxidermists that specialize in zombies?

Zombies are so durn ugly it just begs that one carry a gun with enough "blast" to take the head clean off. .22LR's may kill but they don't "beautify". As for "bag limits" don't give government any ideas. |

I'm got my fingers crossed for Pioneer Square! If the apocalypse happens, I figure that'll be one of the more challenging spots to survive. I'm all about the challenge.

Nope, I'm not experienced with the "game". But then again, my experience with war has had few rules other than "you kill them or they'll kill you". |

One KSG, a backpack full of shells & I'm ready to fuck up the day for some zombies! Although I'm sure I would have other firearms stored around! | |

How about a Remington model 8 in 35 remington. big bullet, good knockdown, and heavy enough to crack skulls between reloads. Not modern but old school cool.

Best thread ever! LOL! I will stick with my tactical Mossberg 590 and my Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm. I also have quick access to a Remington 700, so I think Im pretty much set. |

This thread needs a bump! I picked up my new Zombie gun! KelTec KSG Since this picture was taken I have added a single point sling & have a KSG Enforcer muzzle brake ordered for it. I still need to get some iron sights too! This little bugger feeds everything from Aguila Minishells to 3" shells flawless! It holds 25 total Minishells or 15 2 3/4inch shells. | Sharpshooter Joined: Jan 2009 From: Dri-Shities Posts: 679 | I told my favorite local shop I was interested in one back when they first started shipping. They called me a couple of weeks ago & said they had finally gotten one in & it was mine if I still wanted it! They are slowly shipping them out. My suggestion would be go to all of the local shops that you patronize & let them know you want one. Have them put you on a list or start a list of interested customers. I also paid much less then MSRP which was a shit ton less then the shysters on Gunbroker are asking! |

Cycles flawlessly. Cycled everything I fed it without an issue. The action is nice & smooth. Not clunky or rough. As for switching tubes, I have heard some people say it is stiff or impossible to do with full tubes. I didn't have any issues switching back & forth from either tube. Doing it smoothly when one tube empties without a dry fire between should just require practice. I fed it Aguila Mini Shell slugs, Centurion 2" 00 buck, Hornady 2 3/4 00 Z-shot, Winchester 2 3/4 1oz. slugs & Winchester 2 3/4 PDX1 slug & buck. Not a hiccup from any of them. Due to the small size & light weight of this design it will kick the shit out of your shoulder if you are going to fire multiple heavy shells. I have a nice purple shoulder. If I was firing this on a regular repetitive basis, I would seriously be looking at reduced recoil shells! The recoil from the Centurion 2" 00 buck wasn't too bad at all, but those shells only have 6 pellets compared to 9 pellets in a standard 2 3/4 00 buck. & here is updated porn!
