| Utah CCW class on peninsula
I have found an instructor and am getting a group together around Poulsbo to get a Utah CCW. It looks like the total cost is $150 which includes everything. I have a the minimum number for a class but thought I would see if there's any that would like to get in on this, on this forum. PM me if interested. The date has not been set, just working on the interest part right now |

Are they also certified for Florida? Utah already honors the WA carry permit. The reciprocity is almost the same, and I'm more likely to travel to Florida than Minnesota. If they are certified for Florida, is the same training applicable? |

Don't know. But here's a nice map that show reciprocity from state to state. Just click on the state and it will show you who it's permit is reciprocal with. Concealed Carry Permit Reciprocity Maps Don't forget to clear the map when before you click on a new state By the way just to clarify. I'm not the expert/teacher. I'm just trying to get enough people together to hold the class. I just want to get a permit myself |

FWIW: I took the Utah class at Cabela's in Post Falls, ID, on 10-17-09. I sent my application in the following week, probably the 20th. Got my permit in Saturday's mail, 12-19-09. Interestingly, the letter that came with indicates that the permit has been issued pending the result of the FBI background check and could be revoked if any problems are found. I should be o.k. unless I've ended up on the terrorist watch list since my last NICS check in November of 2008.

| Here's the web site for the class I took: Home Page He has several upcoming classes for y'all over there on the wet side (three dates in Lacey, one in Vancouver) and at my class in Post Falls, ID, he tacked Oregon on at the end of the Utah class. P.S. - - I have no ownership or employment interest in Mr. Faherty's endeavors. I just think he did a good job and I had my Utah permit in hand approximately two months after the class.

Nope I think there was a movement towards a federal permit (which would have been) but it got shot down (so to speak) |
