I had a 62' with a pumped up 40 Hp, and a 69' Baja with a 1600 Dual Port with an IRS Transaxle, Fun, Fun, Fun! In, the winter (when in the teens temp wise) I used to put a Coleman 501 single burner stove out into the 62' around 20 minutes before I left for work because the heater sucked pretty much in the 62', while the heater in the 69' worked pretty good. |

Yeah I don't even have heaters haha I yanked those when I did the engine. Ive just gone with straight J tubes to the Porche GT exhaust which makes for some nice pop at night. I put a 1600cc dp in it. Had a Porche shop in Seattle do the internals. Its got a tad more kick then the old engine, but to be honest I need to do dual carbs it would just look that much better when you pop the deck lid. I was thinkin about putting a sticker in the window. This is my low and slow cruiser. | |

Cool car man, I always wanted an Origional pre-70's bug to mess around with. My buddy has one that puts out around 180 HP, it's a really clean turbo setup..
