Did some camping over Memorial Day!

First off I would like to say thank you to all the soldiers that sacrificed so much so Americans can enjoy freedom!

Moving on I know this is a tad late, but I had a busy week of work since I took 5 days off for memorial day. The first 3 days were camping the second half was spent trying to figure out what national cemetery to bury my dad at. Oh and I need to find a frame for his flag. If any of y'all know a good triangular frame let me know!

Added some pics below of campin and shooting my AR build.

The Llama Mini Max .40

The AR build 5.56/.223

Hey where were you camping? Is that North Fork road out of North Bend? I think I recognize that spot, I stopped there to let my dog run around and snap a couple pics of my new truck a month or so ago.

If so, is it legal to shoot up there again? I used to go there all the time, then they closed it to target shooting several years ago.... did the open it back up?

I was told by Fish and Game that its cool to shoot up there at a certain spot. Oh yeah it is the North Fork. I have had Fish and Game and the Ranger come by and they said I was ok. As long as you are on federal land you can shoot. You can not shoot on private land up there though. It's pretty much the only spot I shoot anymore since its close and still fairly remote.

Sweet!! That is good to know, I haven't been shooting there for years and was bummed when it was closed. So glad it's a viable area again!

Wait a second though... isn't most of that Weyerhauser land? Or or is that just the lower (closer to North Bend) area?

Its actually owned by Hancock and all of that land is indeed illegal to shoot on. You can only shoot on Federal land with a proper back stop. The Federal land starts at about 15.5 miles up the dirt road. NF5700.

cheers
