**** THAT.

I refuse to be hide my life and choices... if the government/authorities want to abuse their powers I'll see them in court.

I hope this guy wins a tidy sum against a overzealous local law enforcement entity.. sherif/pd whatever.

That was wrong.. and I hope it's reflected as such.

It actually makes me feel more like posting whatever the hell I want.

This story came about because someone called a hotline after seeing that picture. The CPS didn't even look at the image or anything else. They just arrived, with police, making demands -- all while being unwilling to provide credentials.

To then feel I should "be careful" is the opposite of what I want (for me or others).

I think it would be wise to reach out and fine a good civil rights attorney that you can put in your Contacts. Luckily this fellow already had someone -- and any case is going to be majorly in his favor for having done that bit of preparation...

We need a like button hahaha. I couldn't agree more, but I do set a ton of stuff on private or just for certain people. I just don't believe I need to hide when I'm doing things that are perfectly legal.

No need for the gun haters to hate!

I do not agree with anyone showing up to inspect guns or even your house, I am just saying people put allot of personal information out there, that can cause you harm. Mainly I am talking about posting pictures or statements like "I'm out of here for the week" which to me means come steal my ****. But hey do your thing I'm sure no one is watching

I totally get your point.. but I don't want to feel like a prisoner in my own country.

In my opinion, someone has to fight back (in the media and through the legal system). What they are doing is strong arming the public into a new acceptable way of thinking around guns..

I like this video on how to handle random checkpoints.
