WA - concealed carry laws

concealed carry laws

is there a comprehensive list of the laws cor concealed carry here in wa?

I've looked in the past

I've seen a few individual RCW's reguarding carry,
but what would be awesome would be a booklet or something

Here are some helpful links to the Washington State RCW laws on firearms and concealed carry:

Definitions of Firearms:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.010

Laws on carrying:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.050

Exceptions to restrictions on carrying firearms:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.060

Concealed pistol license — Application — Fee — Renewal
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.070

Handgun purchase waiting period defined:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.090

Waiver of Confidentiality (aka: agreement to background check)
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.094

Weapons prohibited in certain places — Local laws and ordinances — Exceptions — Penalty
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.300

--------------------------------------------------------------------

And for those living in King County, here's a link to the King County Sheriff's website that lists details on obtaining a permit, associated costs, and locations.

http://www.kingcounty.gov/safety/she...vices/Gun.aspx

You can also apply for a CPL at you local police station. Check your city's or county's sheriff department website for additional details.

no problem.

anyone else can say what they think is the way it is, but reading the laws themselves is the best way to go (at least you can only blame yourself that way!)
